Our professional team is here to guide our patients and their families every step of the way throughout their mental health journey. We are experienced in diagnosing and treating those with a wide range of conditions.
WHAT WE TREAT
At Premier Mental Wellness, we strive to be the best providers in psychiatric care. Some of our services include, but are not limited to psychotherapy, alcohol abuse, anxiety disorders, ADHD, depressive disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, LBGTQ community, eating disorders, sleep issues and mood disorders. We also offer B12 injections to better assist you with mood, energy, and sleep.
Premier Mental Wellness offers online appointment scheduling. You can also call the office to request an appointment time.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Our goal is to ensure that patients are receiving optimal therapeutic outcomes for the medications that they may be taking. Medications help treat the symptoms of mental health disorders and are often used with other forms of treatment such as counseling and behavioral therapies.
Please note that if your are taking opioids, benzodiazepines such as Xanax and Klonopin will not be prescribed. This rule applies for hypnotic sleep aides as well (Ambien, Lunesta, etc.).

WHAT TO EXPECT
At Premier Mental Wellness we strive to provide you with the best care possible. To help with this, we have provided some information on what to expect during your initial visit and follow-up appointments.
ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE ONLINE
Please expect to receive paperwork for you appointment electronically once you schedule your appointment.
List of prescription or over the counter medications and doses currently and previously tried with the outcome listed
List of any drug allergies or interactions that you have had in the past
Completed registration forms that can be found on the website
Picture I.D.

Possible testing to provide as supplemental information for diagnostics and treatment
Possible in office urine drug screen may be done at your clinician's discretion at any visit
Please expect to be in our office for at least 1.5 hours on your first visit to complete all services. Arrive 20-30 minutes prior to your appointment to complete the registration process. You will spend approximately 45 -60 minutes with your clinician to design a specific treatment plan.
All follow-up visits will be 15 minutes with your clinician
Please be advised all refill requests can take up to 48 hours in business days
To avoid late cancellation and no show charges, please call our office at least 24 hours in advance to cancel an appointment. All voicemails are timestamped if our office is closed.

MEET YOUR PROVIDER
Angel L.A. Adams has a diverse educational and nursing background. She has been working in the psychiatric field since 2013, catering to all ages and numerous types of mental health disorders. Angel earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She obtained her Bachelor of Nursing from Texas Christian University, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Houston. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Angel is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., a professional service organization for registered nurses and student nurses, and Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of North Texas. Prior to being a nurse practitioner, she was a psychiatric and hospice nurse. Angel specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric conditions.
MEET YOUR PROVIDER
Chioma Anwukah is a certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MSN, PMHNP-BC) in both Nevada and Texas. She has over 7 years of experience in psychiatry, as both a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner. Mrs. Anwukah has experience working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a variety of settings, including private practice, hospitals, and outpatient mental health clinics. She evaluates, diagnoses and treats a wide range of psychiatric disorders such as ADHD/ADD, Depression, Bipolar, Psychosis, Insomnia, Anxiety, Panic attacks, PTSD, OCD and many more. Mrs. Anwukah strives to create a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental space for her clients where they can learn the individualized tools they need to achieve optimal functioning level.
Mrs. Anwukah is currently working AFTER HOURS and WEEKENDS in order to meet the needs of our patients.
MEET YOUR PROVIDER
Esther Aruna is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner treating a broad spectrum of client and families with various mental health problems including anxiety, depression, OCD, panic disorder, mood disorders and PTSD. She provides a comprehensive evaluation, medication management and a therapeutic approach in treating clients.
Mrs. Aruna adheres to the holistic caring approach and accomplish to treat the whole person. Medications are prescribed only if necessary. She highly encourages clients to practice meditation, yoga, laugh therapy and a healthy diet. Evidence- based applications are the foundation of her practice along with striving to establish a sincere and honest therapeutic relationship.
